Critical praise for iHuman:

"...compelling...mysterious and tantalizing...

...bodies in darkness doing who knows what,
who knows where, but drawing us into their interplay..."

WOOD! previewed in SF Weekly:

Terribly Titular

"Since he was posthumously granted the Golden Turkey Award for Worst Director of All Time, Ed Wood has inspired some unlikely, but long overdue, devotion. The Sacramento-based Church of Ed Wood currently boasts 3,500 legally baptized Woodites, who celebrate "Woodmas" with schlock movie marathons and pink cashmere on the day of their low-rent redeemer's birth. We bet they make a carpool pilgrimage (thrift being an admirable trait) to San Francisco for WOOD! Into the Mind of Edward D. Wood, Jr., Worst Director of All Time!, a multimedia event based on facts, fictions, and subconscious themes in the man's life and art. Members of the Black Stone Ensemble, an experimental butoh dance troupe led by Allison Wyper, will channel characters from movies like Plan 9 from Outer Space, Glen or Glenda?, and The Violent Years during an interactive, haunted house-style installation of film clips, audio samples, and objets d'fetish. The proscenium cabaret will explore the shadowy beauty of Wood's myopic ambition and lacy undergarments through live music, dance, satire, and video. Don't forget to wear your finest fuzzy sweater; there will be a casting couch and bar serving virgin Pink Angora martinis and pink cupcakes."

On Allison Wyper's solo performance, My Husband, My Country:

"Amazing. I left there feeling emotionally raw and was babbling a little
when I was describing the performances to my friend. Oh man, really really good stuff."

–Evaly, an audience member

"As John Stewart makes me laugh at trouble...your work
hooked my gut with ominous foreboding."

–Dale, a fan
